ELA:
We started our new unit on Leadership and Good Citizens. We will be reading a wide-range of fiction and non-fiction text to learn more about leadership qualities and characteristics of a good citizen.
Skills that we will be working on this week include:
- Identify words and phrases in stories or poems that suggest feelings or appeal to the senses
- Understand the differences between words, phrases, and sentences
- Compare and contrast the adventures and experiences of characters in stories
- Understand "who" and "what" within stories
- Understand what an adventure is
- Understand what an experience is
