Last Week in Pictures

During our Lead Time, we focused on the importance of being honest.
Leaders tell the truth so others can trust them.
We met with our accountability partners to talk about challenges with being honest.
We will be checking back at the end of the week to see if we are reaching our goals.

We watched the story "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" and discussed why it is so important to always tell the truth.

Good Readers think about what they are reading.
We are working on going back in the text to find the answer.
When we write down our response, we are working on restating the question in our written response.

The 3rd Graders led the Leadership Assembly!

Congratulations to our classroom leaders for the month!

In Science, we are discovering how light creates shadows.
We are working on different challenges to make the shadows large/small and projected onto different areas (like the ceiling).

We started our Friday off with a guest reader.
We love listening to stories!

Friends are sharing stories that they write at home.
Keep up the great work!

We checked in with our accountability partner to see how we are doing with being honest.
We shared situations where we had to decide to tell the truth.

Fireman Mike came in for his 2nd session on Fire Safety.
Congrats to everyone that turned in their homework assignment.
Please make sure to keep practicing your address so you are prepared in case of an emergency.

We acted out a scenario where we had to provide information in case of an emergency.
Way to rock your address, #1!

Fireman Mike had to step away. When he came back, we were in the middle of a Go Noodle.
It is always great to get our extra energy out!

We learned about what to do if we see matches, lighters, sparklers, and other dangers...
Do not touch and go tell an adult!

During our Class Meeting, students take turns sharing a "put up" for another classmate.
When we say nice things to others, it is a Win-Win!
